A Tale Written for a Starry Night
At the request of the Royal Commission for Al Ula, HQWS took on the role of Executive Producers, creating the revolutionary drone show Constellations. Unlike typical drone shows which are just one segment of a larger production, the show used autonomous drones as the primary storytellers.

Constellations was showcased as part of the AlUla Skies season in Saudi Arabia. This immersive 35-minute production enthralled audiences, with 2,500 autonomous drones dancing across the sky synchronized to custom content projected on a holographic screen. The visually stunning show combined original music, powerful narration, and artistic elements spotlighting AlUla's rich history.

What was the Audience's Experience?
After a brief introduction, the audience relaxed on a rotating turntable and embarked on a journey through the wonders of the constellations across the night sky. The turntable ensured guests viewed the entire celestial showcase. At the heart of the experience was the narration, which charted a path through ancient civilizations, immersing guests in AlUla's history as their ancestral home. The innovative design kept the narrative at the core, even amidst the spectacle of the drones' elaborate aerial choreography.
